Meanwhile I find yet another gem written in Hindu. Has a parallel table of origins of the Universe per shastras and current science. Science is starting to approximate Hindu dates but is much less precise in most cases. It will eventually get there. 
Meanwhile Thapar’s “authentic” history is based on the foundation of those who thought the Earth (or is it Universe, did Christians even know the difference?) was 6000 years old. This was Gospel Truth for Max Mueller and the host of Western Historian who wrote Indian history.
