Here's a guide to the best tactical voting strategy in each area. Aim: maximise the likelihood of pro-Remain parties winning MEPs.
Whoever you end up voting for, the key thing is to go and vote! And if you can persuade friends, colleagues and family to vote too, that's even better...

And finally, if you're wondering why Change UK are missing, they're not forgotten. But their poll numbers have unfortunately been dropping, and the trend's in the wrong direction. They're unlikely to win MEPs this time around. A better strategy would be to vote for other parties.

Imagine:
Boris Johnson gets picked as next Tory leader. 3-4 Tory MPs leave the party because they can't stomach the idea. Bang, Tory+DUP majority is ancient history.

Could the Queen invite BJ to the Palace in good conscience, knowing he doesn't command the confidence of the HOC?
Bonus question: if not him, who? Because under that scenario it's clear nobody else does either.

Could the Queen force a GE? And would she risk the backlash that would inevitably follow?
That's the thing. She may be stuck either way. She shouldn't invite BJ constitutionally, because she already knows full well he doesn't have the confidence of the HOC ie he has fallen at the first hurdle to becoming PM. But practically? That's another matter...

BTW we're looking at European election turnout trends because there's no other data to go on until Sunday night, but things could go well/disastrously even if turnout were subdued (which appears not to be the case) because at the end of the day vote distribution dictates MEPs.
So I am cautiously optimistic on the limited trends we have, but that's optimism based largely on guesswork.
My prediction: total vote share for Tories+Brexit Party+UKIP will end up trailing the nationwide % suggested by recent polls by a couple of % or so. It'll probably land in the 40-43% range rather than 45%+. And that difference may tip an MEP race or two in a different direction.

Looking at this early turnout data, looks like turnout in strong Leave areas was static or down, while the more Remain the area, the higher the turnout grew, broadly speaking. That hints that perhaps Leavers stayed away, while Remainers came out in force.
If that's the case (and we'll know Sunday night) there could be some pleasant surprises. It's all very well the Brexit Party polling 30%+, but if on the day its supporters stayed away more than those voting for pro-Remain parties did, that nominal 30% would quickly erode.
(Extreme) example: take a fictional pool of 10,000 voters.
Brexit Party polls 30% so that's 3,000 potential BP voters.
LibDems poll 15% so that's 1,500 potential LD voters.
However...
BP turnout is 30% = 900 votes cast for BP.
LD turnout is 60% = 900 votes cast for LD.

1. Thread. I'm going to go on a bit of a rant now, if you don't mind.

It looks like we are going to have an EU election. Whether or not the people we elect actually sit as MEPs, the results of that election will be taken as a proxy referendum on the EU. Remember the GE of 2017?
2. Labour led us up the garden path with its "constructive ambiguity" AKA "fence sitting", so millions of pro-EU voters were induced to vote Labour. It was Peak Corbyn. Afterwards, that was construed as "88% of votes were for pro-Brexit parties so the "People" must want Brexit".
3. If we do the same again in the upcoming EU elections, the same wrong conclusion will be drawn. So I told my Labour MEPs, @Jude_KD and @PaulBrannenNE (who do a GREAT job, btw) that as things stand I can't vote for them this time and Jude replied...

At my farmers market this morning. Notice anything about the pictures?
This pics are not staged. The GOP guys were all wearing hunting clothes, red caps (a couple of them were wearing caps from the DC football club with the offensive name), had flags covering the table, and (although you can't see it in this shot), they brought a German shepherd.
Someone came by the Dem table and said, "Oh look. The guys brought the Hermann Goering police dog today."

The dog was nice though. But he was scary looking.

1) Leavers & Remainers this is what it comes down to.
There are significant numbers of people who will not be bothered by this and will not let this news shake their conviction in #Brexit

The rest of us have a choice, to let people like this set the agenda for the UK, or not
2) #Brexit *is* a victory for dark money, division, racism & intolerance. It's a victory for the self interested who want to weaken our institutions.
Any politician who knows this & doesn't speak against it is a coward or a cynic.
Anyone who says "but what can we do?" enables it
3) everyone has a choice. Everyone can vote for a pro remain party in the local elections. Everyone can send a message.
