This too. When the billionaire press says "middle class", it means the ultra-rich. When it says "homes and gardens" it means huge property portfolios hed by speculative investors.

There couldn't be a more obvious case of conflating the interests of billionaires with the interests of ordinary people. It's the perpetual trick of the Telegraph, Mail etc. Its purpose is to try to persuade people to side with the ultra-rich against their own interests.
