Think about just how far to the extreme national Democrats have moved on the abortion issue. Almost every major candidate now openly support taxpayer funded abortions with few or no legal restrictions up until birth. Positions shared by less than 15% of Americans.
And it says a lot about the current state of the media that they won't call these Democrats on it. Democrats are allowed to get away with generic talking points without having to answer for the consequences of what they are supporting.
And I'm sorry, but it's rare (false) and only happens in these couple of extreme/justifiable circumstances (also false) is not an explanation for why a politician supports it being legal in all cases and circumstances.
