NT! Some thoughts on the Mueller report. I'm old enough to remember when the conspiracy minded folks like Schiff, Nadler, Swalwell and others were all strutting around with smug little smiles waiting for the Mueller report to drop.

Smug in their sureness that when it did drop, it would be their "AHA!" moment, and allow them to *finally* be rid of #OrangeManBad, saying that there was absolutely no doubt in their mind that Trump colluded with Russia. Remember that? Yeah. #goodtimes

Then, imagine their shock and grave consternation when the Mueller report did drop, and stated UNEQUIVOCALLY that there was no evidence of anyone associated with the Trump campaign, including Trump, conspired with the Russians.

So, first they loved, loved, loved Mueller, because he was going to be their knight in shining armor, and "save all of us from this existential nightmare" (eye roll), until he didn't. Their reaction? They got mad at him.

But! He gave them a new way forward, in his bizarrely worded, obviously biased part two of his report, regarding "obstruction of justice". Not so fast, AG Barr said though. He and Rosenstein made the decision that there was no obstruction.

So, now the impeach Trump at all costs crowd felt stymied yet again, but are no longer mad at Mueller, but are instead mad at Barr. How dare the top law enforcement officer in the US decide not to charge someone with a crime!!!!

Spirits flagging, the impeach Trump crowd were further dismayed when AG Barr announced that he was going to investigate the investigators, and how this whole mess got started. Their reaction? "HOW DARE HE INVESTIGATE!!!!"

Then, just as it seemed that spirits of the impeach Trump crowd had hit rock bottom, guess who rides in once again to buck up those flagging spirits, but Bob Mueller, who gave a little talk to say his report speaks for itself ...

But just in case you didn't catch his real meaning Congress *wink wink* ... what he was saying was, it's up to you now. And they've been off and running around like crazy people ever since.

But! Guess what? Some discrepancies have been noted in the Mueller report, and not just minor ones either. Omissions in the phone transcripts regarding Flynn's lawyer; disputed accounts from people mentioned in the report. With more on the way.

This report is flawed, put together by partisans (18 Democrat prosecuting attorneys? Some of them former Clinton employees? C'mon, man.) with an implicit anti-Trump bias who were looking for something, anything they could "hang him" with. And they came up empty.

Now the report is beginning to fall apart, and if it continues to do so, this will set the conspiracy minded hacks like Schiff, Nadler, and Swalwell - oh, and add Pelosi - into absolute paroxysms of apoplexy.
