Struggling freelancers: Here's your weekend assignment...

I've recently been prospecting with IG a lot more

These are some stats from the last few days and in this thread I'll give you the exact method I've been using...
First, why IG?

I am going to where my audience is... it's as simple as that

If your audience isn't on IG, don't use IG

It's blatantly obvious, but most aren't comprehending this fact
I have gotten a literal SHIT TON of information from @RyanHolmerr and @BenWByrne in their Consulting Mentorship program

Most of what you'll see here is my own (modified) version of it

Their program focuses on using LinkedIn but my market was not on LI so I adapted
@RyanHolmerr @BenWByrne I'm using a program called MailShake to automate my prospecting sequences, many also use WoodPecker

I've used cold emails via Ryan and Ben's suggestions and worked with it for awhile to get it just right
@RyanHolmerr @BenWByrne What's great about IG is the fact that most accounts have zero clue that they have the email button turned on in their profiles

You can see it right next to "message" most of the time

If not, you may have to dig a bit deeper, but you can usually find 50% or more this way
@RyanHolmerr @BenWByrne I then compile roughly 20 email addresses or more in one sitting into Google Sheets and then upload that CSV to MailShake where my automated sequence is stored

Estimated time: 30 minutes
@RyanHolmerr @BenWByrne In my very first email, I keep it extremely short, and I use a one line email

The results, although a small sample size, speak for themselves
@RyanHolmerr @BenWByrne This one liner is getting me a great response rate and the follow up email has netted me 4 discovery calls this week

Which is about 14-15% of responses turning into calls

But, here's the big key that I've found...
@RyanHolmerr @BenWByrne That response rate is not common by any means, it is quite high

And I attribute this fact to a bit of luck (being the small sample size) but also knowing my market very well

My specific market is fitness and I've been in this niche for over a decade now...
@RyanHolmerr @BenWByrne When I follow up with my response email, I pitch them one small thing

And that "pitch" is to get on the phone to learn more about what they've already shown interest in

I do NOT sell via cold email, I sell the phone call
@RyanHolmerr @BenWByrne But the biggest takeaway I want you to understand is this...

I use MailShake because it focuses on follow up... Which is the most crucial thing for cold emails

You already know by now, the money is in the follow up

And that's the truth
@RyanHolmerr @BenWByrne Once your sequences are set, you've just got to do the work at gathering emails, or pay for lists

As long as you have the right market and the right offer, it becomes a numbers game at that point
@RyanHolmerr @BenWByrne Lastly, before anyone asks me...

What is your email?
What are your sequences?
How do I find my niche?
Blah blah

There's no better resource than @RyanHolmerr and @BenWByrne course, so go look at that, everything I've learned about prospecting has mainly been from that
