If there's a general election - which there will be, but let's pretend it's an if - any party van put whatever they like in their manifesto. The Lib Dems will have a Brexit referendum in theirs, and the SNP will have an independence referendum in theirs.
The nature of our electoral system. Labour, Tories and Brexit party splitting the Brexit vote among them, where does the remain vote go? Lib Dems, or SNP.
