In @RealBristolNews There is a reference to Christopher Steele’s Charlemagne Project completed April 2016. We do not know who commissioned it. But the name of the project is interesting as Charlemagne Capital is one of Jim Mellon’s companies.

I see from his Wiki Page that Jim Mellon not only financially contributed at Leave £100k to the Leave EU campaign (original called Know EU) but also said he (financially) “had a good day” after the Brexit vote with his trades returning almost 25% profit on the year.

Odd that.

Yesterday I tweeted out a Goebbel’s meme.

You have to do trial runs (fascism) that, if they are done well, serve 2 purposes
They get people used to something they may initially recoil from; & they allow you to refine & calibrate. This is what is happening now and we would be fools not to see it.

1) Why does no-one talk about the EU trade defecit or German car makers any more?

The £350m & the lies on immigration were important but an absolute consistent #Brexit tag line was "they need us more than we need them"

*that* was the Brexit on offer, a desperate, pliant EU
2) the sequence of events is very simple yet never picked up by our media who cannot look back more than 48 hours:

- Brexiters told us the German car makers because of our huge trade defecit would be desperate for a trade deal
- "its in their interest, they have more to lose"
3) - Gove, Johnson, Davis, Grayling, Farage, all of them said we were guaranteed a better #Brexit deal than we have now

Some of them might even have believed it.

- we wouldn't need to be *in* the Single Market because we would have full *access* to it, at no cost to the UK

1) Corbyn = #Brexit = NHS sell off
Difficult to understand attitude of remaining Corbyn supporters as being any more than a cult of personality in the same vein as Farage (only less successful currently)
Corbyn supports Brexit, and Brexit means the dismantling of the #NHS
2) Whatever Corbyn says, or his supporters believe, there is no Labour #Brexit, or Jobs first Brexit, or "protect the NHS" Brexit, there's just Brexit - and a weakening of the UK's protections and institutions which will undermine the NHS and worker protections
3) it's well documented that there is no love for the NHS, or worker protections, in the right wing of the Tory party and Faragists. Its also well documented that the NHS is disliked by many US interests because its powerful enough to set drug prices

1) Lib Dem are not centrist
There's 2 political spectrums
For 60 years we focused on the 1st, Left and Right, Labour and Tory

Everything that wasnt Left or Right became "centrist"

But what we're seeing now is the most important spectrum, Liberal & Authoritarianism

2) What we're seeing in Labour & the Tory/Brexit party is the emergence of authoritarianism

If you see Corbyn essentially ignore his members, mislead people on "Jobs first" Brexit, damage the Labour Party & are OK about it "because Jeremy".. maybe you're actually authoritarian
3) if you don't care that a small cabal of men control Labour, then it's similar to the lack of interest in Brexit party supporters in the lack of internal party democracy

Some people just like someone to be in charge. Some like to follow a figure rather than policies

Labour MPs, had a choice on #Brexit

They could have consistently said "yes, Leave won - but the choice before us now is prosperity or sovereignty, a painful or pointless Brexit. What do we choose?"

They didn't, from Corbyn down they pretended there was a magic alternative
Corbyn's Labour was never straight with the electorate. Being sold a pup by Tories should be natural campaign ground for Labour but because of cowardice and/or Corbyn's euroscepticism Labour became part of the #Brexit problem, the big lie

Of course leavers are angry. They've been told for 2 years by both sides that a great #Brexit is acheivable if only we had the right negototiating team in place.

The SNP was honest, so was PV the LDs and now ChangeUK - #Brexit couldn't work

So, as Mr Farage @nigel_farage said, this leaflet popped through our doors before the Referendum at a cost of £9M, This is probably the only research most people did, it was certainly true for me. Like most people, I took the EU for granted, it was just, there.

It was the most important decision of our lives, the government made it clear that we already control our own borders and there would be tough new restrictions on access to our welfare system for new EU migrants. The government was clear we should stay in the EU.

This is the first mention of leaving the Single Market, not that 'we will' as Farage keeps saying, but leaving will create uncertainty & risk. The government made it clear being in the Single Market means more jobs which rather disagrees with Mr Corbyn's Jobs First #Brexit
