This individual seems to believe that everyone who voted for Trump, 63 million fellow citizens, is a Nazi. That's incredibly corrosive to social cohesion. And of course, the current rhetoric around "concentration camps" reinforces this incendiary belief
The right engages in its own form of dehumanizing rhetoric -- usually scapegoating the powerless -- but the new "radical liberal" belief that half the country is Nazis has a major impact on national political narratives, given how influential people like TJ are in activism/media
How can you expect to have a functional society or political system when you cast millions and millions of fellow citizens as intrinsically evil in these kinds of rigid, absolutist terms? How do you persuade anyone of anything? The power analysis on display here is totally warped
