I hardly agree on anything with the progressives Pelosi is fighting with, but when they say 2+2=4, I'm not going to argue. Trump's crimes are impeachable and Pelosi is flatly refusing to do her constitutional duty.
Unlike the GOP, Pelosi doesn't deny Trump's culpability. She talks like a pundit with no power, as if she's not the Speaker holding the authority the Founders granted her to prevent abuses by a corrupt president.
Punting to the election corrupts the intent of the entire system. Saying "I won't do my duty because others won't either" is a democracy dying in plain sight. Either there is rule of law or there isn't.
Trump ignores the courts, does whatever he likes, and we hear "Ah, this is the REAL constitutional crisis!" No, it's in the House, where the Dems are arguing hypothetical politics instead of exposing Trump's real crimes.
