In an innovation which is pretty cyberpunk, I’ve run into N>2 instances of professionals in Japan using a Facebook account named, without loss of generality, Taro Company.

This is presumably because FB messenger runs a lot of Japan business communications.

And separating the work persona from the personal persona helps the employee with establishing boundaries that traditionally managed Japanese employees and their counter parties would otherwise transgress frequently without specifically intending the transgression.

For myself I keep my FB account locked like a drum and refuse to do any work on it, although I am fighting a rearguard action given how years of running professional elbows can turn into friendship.

(My previous test was “Would I invite you to my wedding or would you invite me to yours? If yes, FB friend. Otherwise, email/Slack/Twitter/etc works fine.”)
