Earlier tweet deleted for correction: The House is technically voting to *condemn* Trump's recent racist remarks on lawmakers. Not technically a censure. But, if they did take it to this level, it would be historic since it hasn't happened since Andrew Jackson, 1834.
The parallels here are notable. Jackson's censure was triggered by his refusal to submit documents to Congress. Echoes of the past in today's administration.
And in a related development, the contempt vote for AG Barr and Secy Ross refusal to submit to subpoenas... that now moved from 7PM tonight to Wednesday.
