Libra's Senate hearing was surprisingly coherent. No "Senator, we run ads" moments. It succeeded exposing how even if Facebook acts right & is properly regulated, an unvetted Libra developer ecosystem could create a dangerous wild west.

The "Apple Move" is not "crippling" for Facebook except perhaps for a few days productivity on one platform client; however it _is_ a demonstration of deeply sloppy fuckwittage by whatever team are charged with carrying the #Onavo flag forwards on iOS.
My rant from yesterday, stands; and from feedback I'll adapt my position on #3 somewhat: when you grow to be big enough, perhaps it behooves you to take extra steps to demonstrate clean hands — which the #Onavo data-collection approach did not:
