Judo Politics. In the Bush years, the leftist zeitgeist branded the right as a bunch of America loving flag/bible thumpers. At the time that worked.

But it was shortsighted, the paradigm has shifted now massively.
Now that America at large has gotten over its mixed guilt/world police shame that resulted from the shock induced by 9/11, that brand sticks. And we’re in a nationalist epoch.
Trump embraced and enhanced that brand, and now its literally impossible to claim that any sect of the right hate America. It’s an attack that the left have no valid counter against 😂

Or, a dumb story of what I did this afternoon

1/
I recently started in the gym, and all around I’m pretty sore - but on my way home from work I decided to head to the driving range and hit some balls. Fuck it, beats sitting in traffic.

2/
The range kicked my ass. Balance felt out of wack - couldn’t hit my driver for shit. Had a few ok swings but mostly I was just tired out as I got down to the bottom third of my bucket

Do yourselves a favor - and tune out for two weeks.

Seriously. Move your Twitter and Facebook and Reddit apps to the last page on your phone so you can’t habitually open them.

Replace them with Books or something else. Stop consuming news.
The vast majority of people won’t do this, but god damn does it give you perspective on all of this day to day.

I was lured back for a second by the news of declas, so I’m dipping in to see what’s up with that.

But it’s stupid.
I haven’t watched CNN in about a month (I used to watch all the time to see what Don Lemon was gesticulating about)

I just turned it on for a sec to see if they were reacting to Declas

He’s dramatically babbling about President Trump raising his voice in a meeting or something.
