1. One thing that people have almost completely forgotten about is that Trump won in 2016 as a POPULIST

A major part of Trump's core message was criticizing Hillary for her connections to Wall Street and wealthy donors

But flash forward to today and Trump is accepting truckloads of cash from wealthy donors

And he's basically giving them whatever they want in return

They filed their report a couple of days ago and I took a look at some of the people who have already maxed out

5. Ike and Laura Perlmutter have given $721,200 to Trump Victory. Ike is the chairman of Marvel Entertainment.

He's been effectively running the VA, including steering lucrative contracts to his preferred destinations, from Mar-a-Lago.

6. Darwin Deason has donated $355,000 to Trump Victory. Deason and his son helped "choose the head of the influential scientific body charged with reviewing EPA's regulations"

He sent the name of an industry hack to Scott Pruitt and that guy got the spot

7. Other max donors (360K) to Trump victory include a member of Trump's cabinet and two ambassadors. His administration is for sale.

1. Wow, this new Ivanka-endorsed "paid leave" plan is even worse than the last one. An insult to parents and to actual proponents of paid family leave.
2. It doesn't provide paid parental leave. Rather it allows you to pay for your own leave by taking a $5000 advance on your child tax credits and then paying it back in higher taxes over the next ten years

Because if there is one thing that new parents need its higher taxes
3. It's very telling that we just had a $1 trillion tax cut for corporations and not a penny was paid for but as soon as we talk about paid leave it must be REVENUE NEUTRAL

1. The response to Trump's racist attacks on @RepCummings, which have been going on for several days, will leave a PERMANENT STAIN on the Republican Party

Most members of the GOP have stayed SILENT

Those that have spoken have EQUATED Cummings and Trump

Equating the target of racism with the person being racist is not OK.

Not a single Republican member of Congress -- NOT ONE -- has had the basic moral courage to say: I oppose Trump's racist attacks on my colleague

1/ Whenever I ask for evidence of Trump-Russia collusion, I get this circular-reasoning response:
How do you know that there was no collusion?
My answer: I'm NOT claiming there was no collusion, but I see #ZEROEvidence that Trump colluded. SHOW me your EVIDENCE!
2/ If I were to claim that you murdered someone, I would need to provide evidence of this. My claim does not make it have some sort of merit. If you insist you did not do this and want me to stop pushing such as accusation in public b/c it really did not happen, that makes sense.
3/ Would an innocent person remain silent in the face of a massive campaign by those who don't like that person making unsubstantiated claims? Would they not want to put an end to it? If I were #Trump, I would want this thing shut down too as it looks to be a witch hunt.
