Tears in the Rain - Blade Runner (9/10) Movie CLIP (1982) HD via @YouTube
1/ "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die."
2/ One of the most iconic scenes ever. Rutger Hauer added his own lines, "All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain".
3/ Hauer said that these final lines showed that Batty (The character he played) wanted to "make his mark on existence ... the replicant in the final scene, by dying, shows Deckard what a real man is made of".

Thank you, Rutger Hauer. Rest in Peace.
4/ Addendum: That scene has stuck in my mind since the first time I saw it. Roy Batty knew he was going to die, and he saved Deckard's life - a man who, up to only a moment before, he was trying to kill.
5/ Batty knew, in that last moment, just how precious life was - any life - even that of his enemy.
