Yesterday, Special Counsel Mueller described a democracy in crisis: an attack on our nation by a foreign adversary, a campaign willing to accept help from that foreign adversary...
…a President taking repeated steps to interfere into the subsequent investigation and the same foreign adversary ready to attack our nation again in 2020.
Instead of focusing on the substance of this crisis, much of the pundit class spent yesterday and today critiquing the hearing as if it were a Broadway show. Shame on them.
Our nation owes Special Counsel Mueller our gratitude for his lifetime of service. We should all commend his work and commitment to our nation.

I support the impeachment of @realDonaldTrump
My concerns about the President’s conduct have grown over months, particularly as I thoroughly reviewed Special Counsel Mueller’s report. President Trump’s most recent actions with regard to Ukraine have created new urgency to take action
Given this clear abuse of power, I believe I have an obligation to outline the conduct, both during the Russian investigation and the Ukraine matter, that is within the well-established definition of the “high crimes and misdemeanors”

The Trump Administration has gone to great lengths to suppress climate science in order to downplay the threat of climate change. We must act on the serious threat of climate change and that begins with respecting science
This Administration’s failure to promote its own USDA researchers’ climate science hurts our farmers, ranchers and rural communities. Additionally, the reckless relocation of ERS and NIFA is already causing a loss of expertise and a disruption of critical research.

If the Trump Administration actually wants to help the homeless they can begin by reversing the cuts they have proposed to vital programs
The Trump Administration has worked to drastically cut and even eliminate entire federal programs that keep the lowest-income people affordably housed
The Administration has sought to triple rents for the lowest-income subsidized residents and raise rents for all others
