🍒AFCB #FPL FAQs🍒

I’ve seen a lot of people asking the same questions on twitter in relation to:

1) who will start in goal for #Afcb?
2) who will start LB?
3) who replaces Brooks?

So thought I’d put a little thread together to help answer those questions👇

1)Who will start in goal?

We have 4 GK options:

▫️Begovic - isn’t trusted & rumoured to have fallen out with EH
▫️Boruc -veteran GK, signed a 1 yr deal to bolster our options
▫️Travers -came in at the end of last yr, did well
▫️Ramsdale -not yet on fpl & just returned from loan

I could run through pre-season minutes, CS, etc but it really makes no difference. Nobody knows who will start, I’m not even sure EH is 💯 yet and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few of them given chances this season. Personally, I’d like Ramsdale.

📝My verdict: avoid

2) who will start LB?

A) Daniels (4.5) - has just returned from injury and only played in 1 game, so very unlikely.

B) Smith (4.5) could go LB, with Stacey (4.5) RB, but don’t think Stacey has shown enough yet.

C) Rico (4.0) - natural LB and has played in every friendly

📝My verdict: After our 3-0 win over Lyon, I think the same back 4 will start. That includes Rico (4.0) at LB, who’s played in every friendly notching up 270 minutes.

Last season we beat Marseille 5-0 in our last friendly, EH started the same 11 for #gw1 to reward them

3) who replaces Brooks?

Options:

1) Ibe (5.0) did well last friendly, but usually sh*t imo
2) Kilkenny (?) plays RW but good pre season & Fraser could go LW
3) Danjuma (6.0) should start as he was bought as a direct replacement
4) King (6.5) could easily go LW & Solanke up top

Much like the GK, this position isn’t nailed on for anyone!

D) Lloyd Kelly (4.5) currently injured

imo, I’d be looking at Fraser (7.5) or Wilson (8.0) If you look at a number of articles written by the experts both offer unreal value & as someone who watches them every GW, I can assure u both are involved in everything goin forward

King (6.5) a good option but prefer Wilson
