Men are cancelled. 
After every mass shooting, dudes emerge from the sewers to remind us all that the only possible solution to social dissatisfaction and alienation is to “get laid”, thereby completely passing the buck on ways men can make each other less lonely AND perpetuating male entitlement.
Tweets like these ones only serve to further promote and normalize the toxic idea that if you’re not having sex you are bound to be a miserable loser. Regurgitating that viewpoint is cultivating MORE male violence, not reducing it.
Imagine if, instead of suggesting women offer up their bodies to prevent violent male attitudes, men spent that energy developing healthy relationships and connections *amongst themselves*
If cars and factories could run on the distilled bad opinions of men, climate change would be solved in 2019.
I’m sure all these “legalize prostitution to stop mass shootings!” dudes are at least consistently respectful and positive towards women in the sex industr—oh, wait.
Honestly I keep thinking this week about how men are way more likely to say “I hope my future daughter doesn’t turn out to be a slut” than “I hope my future son doesn’t turn out to be violent” and that just about sums it up, doesn’t it?
