Dear Flag Kneelers I have to ask because I've been wondering for awhile, do you feel your provided some sort of social service when you disrespect the flag that so many veterans have fought and died for? Should we all gasp in admiration at your "courage"?
2) Tell me do you feel as if you have somehow served society as a whole and left the world a better place with the extreme effort you put in bending the knee, I mean I know it had to be very difficult to bend it?
3) As an American and a family member of those who served let me tell you something if you wanted to stop inequality I would prefer that you do something more than simply bend the knee and expect accolades as if you have done something great.
4) Messages of hope aren't supposed to hurt people. Yet you CHOOSE to hurt millions of veterans and their families every day, but who cares right? As long as you get your two seconds of "social equality" time to serve your incredibly overblown ego's who cares about them right?
5) I would prefer that you used your fame to go into the hardest hit areas and clean them up, use your fame to bring positive change and raise these people out of hopelessness. Take your athletic teams, go help repair houses, pave a street, clean up some trash spread some LOVE.
6) I'm sure that few if any of you are willing to put in any more effort than it took you to bend your knee to actually use your positions to effect real lasting & positive change for our society instead of hurting people, injecting hope instead of hate, but one can wish.
7) The greatest most lasting movements in history have not been based on hate or anger or hurting people. They were based on love. If you want change the world then BE the change, spread hope & love not hate and disrespect.
8) I had no problem removing my viewership from football when they chose to make a fun event political and I will have even less trouble tuning out international sports. It's not Team USA anymore, I don't know who you are representing anymore but it's not me or my country.
9) It's sad that of all the nations who compete only American's would dare to behave so disrespectfully towards their countryman in such disgusting displays. No other athletes have ever been so selfish as ours. @TeamUSA
@TeamUSA @CBS @FoxNews @CNN @ABCNetwork @espn @TuckerCarlson @seanhannity @USAFencing @USWNT @USWNTPlayers 10) After a service member pays the ultimate sacrifice his family is given a flag as a token of appreciation from a "grateful" nation. This is what you disrespect every time you kneel. The sacrifice of this family who have given more to this nation than you ever will.
@TeamUSA @CBS @FoxNews @CNN @ABCNetwork @espn @TuckerCarlson @seanhannity @USAFencing @USWNT @USWNTPlayers 11) The children of these brave men and women are watching every time one of you self entitled athletes takes a knee and disrespects the life that their loved ones gave to provide you with the freedom to be disrespectful.
@TeamUSA @CBS @FoxNews @CNN @ABCNetwork @espn @TuckerCarlson @seanhannity @USAFencing @USWNT @USWNTPlayers 12) The wives, parents, siblings and friends of those who have died are also watching and some are crying that you cannot find it in your hearts to simply stand and show that simple gesture of respect for their sacrifices.
@TeamUSA @CBS @FoxNews @CNN @ABCNetwork @espn @TuckerCarlson @seanhannity @USAFencing @USWNT @USWNTPlayers 13) For taking something that has such deep meaning to these grieving families and stomping on it on a soccer field, kneeling before it in disrespect and adding more pain to these families who have given so very much you should be very deeply and truly ashamed.
14) Our veteran's and their families deserve better and they will always be respected and held in high honor by me no matter what you do.
15) Someone has to show them the love, respect and care that they so richly deserve and it's certainly not coming from you. Until you can show them the respect and honor that they have earned in the blood of their loved ones, I for one will NOT be watching ever again.
16) I will leave you with this message from grieving Gold Star Mom Amanda Jacobs who is pained every single time you act so callously towards her family and their loss every time you disrespect the flag that covered her sons casket.
17) So the next time you think to take a knee I want you to picture the how these brave men & women under those flags you so easily disrespect after giving their very lives so you can live under the banner of freedom that THEY provided & make a living playing professional sports.
18) I want you to remember this image of Arlington filled with the heroes who have given more to this nation than you ever will. Then be decent people, show a little respect and remain standing with your hand on your heart as a gesture of your gratitude.
*lay under those flags
