Ok WHAT is this?
1986: Adnan Khashoggi joins Skyhigh Resources Ltd, a penny stock mining company in Vancouver, Canada as a director. Stocks go CRAZY on the largely unregulated Vancouver exchange. He's brought in by Douglas Fraser.
It only owns 2 mines.
upi.com/Archives/1986/…
Months later, the RCMP are up in there, claiming it was a plot to ship arms to Iran.
"Canadian govt, said Friday it has expressed its concern to the US for failing to inform Canada that some of its citizens may be involved in the deal."

upi.com/Archives/1986/…
Skyhigh Resources Ltd was an umbrella corp that included a tech company specializing in contact/personnel software. Hm?

Jesus. Did you know Canada was a major conduit of arms smuggling to Iran from America? 🇨🇦

Where am I going with this, you wonder?
2011 New Statesman article on Iran-Contra. Lots of fun stuff.

The backdoor-enabled version of PROMIS was sold to govt in the Middle East.
Adnan Khashoggi was going to help them sell & deliver it.
"PROMIS should be delivered without “paperwork, customs, or delay”, it stated, and all of the transactions paid for through a Swiss bank account."
AG Edwin Meese's friend, Dr Earl Brian (govt advisor) was given copies of PROMIS to sell as he saw fit.
He had trouble reaching some countries, so he asked Robert Maxwell to assist.
Robert sold copies to ALLIES. FUCKING USA ALLIES.
😱📌🤯
Gordon Thomas, who wrote books on spies and stuff, (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gordon_Th…) also covered Ari-Ben Menashe. You might remember him from my SNC Lavalin thread:
Thomas' sworn affadavit is online!
He claims each govt org made its own version of PROMIS to suit its own purpose. He said Israel made its own version to use against America.
That's messy.

israellobby.org/BoydenGrayLett…
Israel's version was ostensibly to track terrorists. ALSO included a chip that enabled Israeli intel to get around that PC's security so they could download/copy its files without knowledge by the govt that owned that license.
COOL.
THIS is the version Maxwell sold to ALLIES.
TL;DR: Robert Maxwell was hired by a top shelf Israeli Mossad spy to sell (for his own profit) Israeli-intel modified PROMIS database software to various governments. The software included a backdoor for Israel to secretly download all files from that computer.
If Maxwell did this for Israel, did HE have access to that backdoor?
Did Semion Mogilevich? 🧐
Is this why he was so fascinated with tech & databases, and spread that fascination to his children?
2006: Maxwell apparently told CHINA about the backdoor when he sold them PROMIS.
He also sold KGB a copy.
China used it to steal nuclear secrets from Los Alamos & Sandia Labs.
64 US govt agencies used a version of PROMIS, opening them up to foreign spying

canadafreepress.com/2006/dastych01…
Osama Bin Laden bought a copy from the Russian Mafia (not the KGB) via the Saudi Royals.
Can we assume this is Mogilevich, Maxwell's Russian mafia boss?📌
There's a deep dive into the PROMIS software and its capabilities in this 1993 wired article.
Sounds like Chiliad's FBI IDW, doesn't it?
AWFULLY similar.
Like, the same.

wired.com/1993/01/inslaw/
The CIA didn't know Canada had PROMIS until it asked them for the user manual!
Oliver North used PROMIS.📌
"Jack Brooks asked North about it during the Iran-Contra hearings, the hearing was immediately suspended pending an executive (secret) conference."

wired.com/1993/01/inslaw/
To close our PROMIS chapter, a journalist researching the story in 1991 was found dead in his hotel room.
Suicide, apparently, but his family weren't told until after he was embalmed, so.
Totally normal.

Super Bonus:
And yes, Mogilevich got his hands on PROMIS, but from Hanssen, not Maxwell.
Did Mogilevich want the FBI version and not the Israeli version? Or did he already have Maxwell's Israeli version but he ALSO wanted the FBI back door?
When countries started to close the backdoors, uninstall PROMIS, whatever, what was Mogilevich to do? He needed that DATA. That PEEK at the world.
"Hey, Rob. You've got some smart kids there. You think one of them could make me a backdoor like PROMIS?"
9/11, an act that Mog may well have had his hand in, caused the US govt to panic and clamour for a searchable info aggregator.
To prevent 9/11 stuff, ostensibly.
The FBI IDW was launched in 2004.

cbsnews.com/news/fbis-new-…
Thousands of computers have access to the FBI IDW. BlackBerry phones also had access. 📌
Ping PhantomSecure?

The EFF sued for FOIA access about the IDW.
FBI started expensing it in 2002.

WHO approved the contract for the American govt’s most powerful info system ever to be built by Robert Maxwell’s children?
WHO?
Who knew?
Look up. Look around.
