Introvert enjoys being alone but they are not lonely.
It is just different way of our brain processes social pleasure system.
Here is a thread, a list of the POWER of being introvert.
If properly controlled, it can be a powerful weapon as a thinker,
But if it is not, it can lead to overthinking which will exhaust our mind.
Train your mind well.
But actually, they enjoy it.
In fact, they prefer it!
Being on your own and having the me-time can help us to become more aware of our surroundings, senses and ultimately, our life.
Able to sustain focus for a long time is one of the introvert's advantage as well. This will lead to a sharper mind.
So don't be surprised with malay poems "Diam-diam ubi berisi."
There is some truth in that.
They are able to show empathy more, being able to relate better with people's feelings and they can be more understanding towards people's problem.
There are many careers need us to have these.
The kind of intelligence that make people capable to recognise emotions and guide their thinking and behaviour, in line with the emotional information.
Why? Because they are not the kind that talk much, therefore when people express their feelings to introverts, they will listen to understand, not just to respond.
:)
Unlike extravert who insists on teamwork and works well with others.
Introverts also feel empowered when they are able to perform difficult tasks purely by their own effort.
Their minds will rationalise and process data as much as possible, in order to achieve the "perfect" decision.
(Unfortunately, this can become a weakness as well)
This will bring to a good social influence among their friends.
They tend to think first before speak, and usually their words focus more on quality than quantity.
Introverts has good social skills, BUT ONLY WITH PEOPLE THEY'RE COMFORTABLE WITH.
Meaning, it takes time and when an introvert socialise well with you, it might be the reason that you're special to them.
In short, befriending an introvert is an achievement and worth it. ❤️
All of them have their own strengths and weaknesses.
And also about being proud of being yourself. Not copying others, not living under somebody's shadow, not becoming someone that people expect you too.
Be you.
:)
Well, that's a thought for another thread.
☺️
