It's annoying when "Hollywood celebrities" like Kristy Swanson, Dean Cain, Kevin Sorbo, Nick Searcy, or whoever "come out" as Conservative and then whine about how difficult it is for them.

First of all, I have to look them up and be, like, "Oh, right. Basic cable Hercules."
But here's the thing: the "intolerance" that they feel is, um, bullshit. Supporting Donald Trump isn't conservative. He's objectively an unstable, venal, racist liar who should be in the middle of an impeachment investigation. He's hurting our economy, military, and environment.
Every intelligence agency we have is convinced that Russia influenced our last election and that they will try to influence the next one. Yet he has done nothing to make the bedrock of our political system safe from a hostile foreign power; worse, he has made it more vulnerable.
Conservatives shouldn't like that. Trump may have hijacked the remains of a broken Republican party, but that doesn't make him conservative. He's an asshole, and if you support him after everything you've seen and everything we know, then you deserve some intolerance.
Because it's not *really* hard for you. It's not, "locked in a cage and not given access to basic hygiene" hard. It's not, "babies stolen from their parents" hard. It's not, "your gender/sexual orientation is becoming illegal" hard.
It's not, "ICE grabs you as you drop your kid at school because of a speeding ticket 30 years ago and deports you" hard. It's not, "Your property is being seized to build a fence we don't need" or, "Because of that fence, our military will live with mold in their homes" hard.
It's not, "My family member/friend was just murdered by a gunman with easy access to a weapon that a majority of the country has voted to ban but what can you do the NRA pays big bribes to the GOP" hard. If you support Trump, you're for those burdens on others.
If you support Trump then you don't support climate science. You don't believe people have equal rights. You don't believe people should have affordable access to health care. You believe in usurious student loans and trillion dollar tax cuts for corporations that don't add jobs.
That's your platform. I, and others, are intolerant of that. And if it costs you a guest spot on Will & Grace, well, those aren't guaranteed in the Constitution.

tl;dr There's nothing brave or noble about "coming out" as conservative in Hollywood. You're no victim.
