President Trump and the US Treasury filed a motion to dismiss the House Ways and Means Committee’s lawsuit against them for Trump’s tax returns.
Of course the #Democrats think there are laws that apply to Trump/Executive Branch but not to them.
Of course the #Democrats think there are laws that apply to Trump/Executive Branch but not to them.
For example, the Democrat House thinks it can use the Juduciary branch against the Executive branch, but it would be a scandal for the Executive Branch to use the Judiciary against Congress. 
And here, the Treasury offered to answer Congressional questions about the Presidential audit process in general. After more beating around the bush & political games, they agreed to hear the process, but not one member of Congress showed up.
