Remember yesterday I was talking about how Pizzagate/QAnon lore says that innocuous, common foods are code words hidden in plain sight?

Here's an example in the wild from today.
Every once in a while, someone will have the brilliant idea of selling pot out the drivethru window of a fast food chain. Realizing the manager will hear the transaction if it happens through the speaker, they decide to use code words. But they need it to be something innocent.
So they wind up making it "extra fries" or "extra cheese" or something else that won't raise any eyebrows.

You know, because it's the sort of thing people ask for at a drive thru.
In the Q world, how *would* a commercial airline let its millions of customers know that they have ice cream? Since the words "ice cream" are only and always code for sexual depravity that is understood only by the global babyeating elite (who don't even fly commercial.)
In the conspiracy lore, it makes more sense that Delta is advertising the covert participation of its executives in a worldwide conspiracy than they are advertising actual ice cream to their actual customers.
Adherents of the lore keep marveling at how extensive the conspiracy is (probably because everybody eats food), but imagine if they were right. Of course all the elite would be in on it. Imagine the first time anybody tried ordering a hot dog or pizza as a rich person.
So everybody with enough money and power to access the "special menu" that is supposedly everywhere would either be part of it or would have to be silenced, leaving everyone complicit.

A secret that depends on no one calling a pizza place for pizza can't last.
People who've never had to think about how you'd really keep something secret assume it's enough to make a codeword that sounds completely normal, never stopping to consider that normal things get said *all the time*. It's why they're normal.
Pizzagate's supposed "well-known food code" (it's certainly well-known among Pizzagate believers) has its basis in a few crumbs of reality.

"Chickens" (as in the birds, not "chicken" as in meat) is slang for usually underage and trafficked boys.
It's "chicken" as in "spring chicken", and the men who prey on them are "chicken hawks". If it was ever used as obfuscatory code and not descriptive slang, it was almost immediately too well-known to actually give anything but the thinnest veneers of plausible deniability.
A couple of other examples spring to mind that are more explicitly food-related... but they're not the Pizzagate list, which is the sort of thing I'd expect middle schoolers on a playground who just heard of the concept to insistently B.S. their way through.
In a Batman comic, the Riddler once taunted Batman with the knowledge that he had deduced his secret identity.

Batman's retort was to ask him what time is it when an elephant sits on a fence.

Riddler answers: "time to get a new fence. Everyone knows that one, it's worthless."
At the point where people have been using a hashtag to circulate a list of the secret code... it's not secret anymore. It's no longer useful.
But of course, all the lore falls apart on that test. Secret plans for mass arrests are being formed, but thousands of people are talking about it on here. Robert Mueller was supposed to be executing a secret pincer move with the president that would catch the elites off guard...
...and Q cultists were on here regularly @-ing the supposed targets of that secret plan to taunt them about how they wouldn't see it coming.

None of it makes a lick of sense.
When none of the supposed dates for springing any of the traps work out, when actors move from good guy to bad guy within the mythology, if anyone probes, the answer is "the stuff that's wrong is misinfo to keep the elites guessing, trust the plan." But mostly they don't question
None of it is based in fact to begin with, so the same people who believe that Hillary Clinton was fitted with an ankle bracelet or John Legend was re-routed to Guantanamo years ago can still to this day believe they're both *about* to be arrested.
It's hard for me to gauge numbers from my vantage point, but the thing that worries me is I still see a steady stream of new adherents being recruited and radicalized. New people every day who "discover the truth".

People are too often too ready to believe something that confirms their worst fears about the world and their worst beliefs about other people.

And, I mean, human trafficking is real. Child sexual abuse is real. Rich people do have the power to get away with stuff.
But, I mean, when a wealthy man gets away with murder, it's more likely to look like Robert Durst than some Eyes Wide Shut Illuminati thing.
Cover-ups are hard. In a real-life cover-up, the whole world still winds up knowing if you, say, left a woman to drown in a car you crashed.
Jeffrey Epstein evaded the full consequences of his actions but he still couldn't avoid a conviction and then another arrest (and likely another conviction), nor were his activities actually secret.
I'm not saying that every crime gets found out or that money can't buy an opportunity for secrecy. But the bigger and more elaborate the arrangements are, the more likely they are to fall apart.
Mostly the crimes that the wealthy get away with are the ones that they can spin as being business. Poisoning whole communities, not poisoning spouses or children. Stealing pensions, not stealing the inheritance. Exploitation of human beings on an industrial scale.
If you got something from (I won't say enjoyed) this dive into the cult waters, please support my work. It's not pleasant or rewarding to keep this watch, yet I feel called to do so.
