I recently debunked an ADAC 'study' with lot's of mistakes apoarently meant to make EVs look bad. This article gives me the feeling it was what the boss ordered in order to protect combustion cars. Sad.

Here is my debunk of the @ADAC 'study'.

As for the German article in the first tweet: it is one big exercise by the @ADAC boss in FUD to delay, basically claiming the EV must be perfect before we can start to change.
I agree the EV is not a solution for everything. Producing big cars with all their resourcs use and production on dirty energy without recycling is always going to be a problem. Nobody should deny that.
But EVs on clean electricity are over 80% efficient and can reduce emissions by around 95%. A combustion car on fossil fuel can realistically aim for 25% efficiency and 25% CO2 reductions.
I find it very unfortunate that the @ADAC is undermining the belated attempts by the German car industry to change and thus is lowering the chances the German car industry will survive the coming decade.
