fwiw the gop has never reconciled its foreign policy post-bush. they just dropped the issue and the mainstream media was more than happy to let them do so. meanwhile democrats have repeatedly been confronted on fp despite more dems getting it right in the last 20 yrs than wrong.
hrc and obama had differences on fp, but she obviously eventually ended up being his top person on fp. yet her fp stances were an issue in 2016. trump lied about opposing the iraq war while the rest of the gop was still in favor of iraq forever. media shrugged.
meanwhile obama was right on iraq back in 2002. right on it in 2008. got us out of it during his presidency and didnt start new wars killing thousands of americans while authorizing the killing of the most wanted terrorist in the world.

The funniest part about now having my second dog is that as a kid I was terrified of dogs. No bad experience, I was just afraid of them. My mom wanted to get me one and I said no. How stupid, right?
I became a dog lover after becoming roommates with two friends in my twenties. They had two dogs, Bear, a lovable giant female Rottweiler and Oscar the dachshund. Bear had been abused in her first home and was very skittish around me for a long time.
Oscar otoh, did not give a damn about my reluctance about dogs. He would push open my door, march in and demand belly rubs. It was those two dogs who made me realize “fuckkkk I love dogs.” And it’s cause of Oscar why I really got into dachshunds and now am all in.

It’s only been 3 months and look how much he’s grown, while still being super little. It feels like I’ve had him for so much longer.

My only regret is my mom isn’t around to see Kal-El. She would spoil him super-rotten. She lovvvvved dogs. This is her with my last dog, CK.
First dog, CK aka Clark Kent, and now Kal-El. Need more dogs for Lois, Lana, Jor-El, Lara...

#FDR promoted the idea that the people of the world, in all nations, shared entitlement to four freedoms: that of the freedom of speech and expression, the freedom of worship, the freedom from want and the freedom from fear.
#FDR is arguably one of the most 'successful' #US Presidents. Some would argue that on the basis of his numerous social policies such as 'the New Deal'. Others, however, would argue that his role during the second world war was more prevalent to his success & everlasting legacy.
