been thinking a lot about what is called ritual magic and the souls natural response to hands on spiritual practices that seem cringe, weird, or just creepy. [...]
i really like the phrase “hands on” spiritual practices because, it has the connotation of a person doing something that affects their spirit or the world around them, in some way. this is a much nicer clear designator to deal with than the highly problematic term of “magic”.
if youre someone into the academic study of esoterica, you could see how something like praying the rosary could technically fit under the designator of “ritual magic”. if youre not that type of person, youd probably (maybe correctly) think someone saying that was being idiotic.

city life robs you of many basic pleasures i was ignorant of until last year. in the city i had more money than i needed but never got any satisfaction from spending it. now i know my mechanic, for example, and when i drop $300 there i know its supporting his family. its great
many things are like this now. less facelessness. i see the person that owns this store or that store, i see their kids, life becomes actualized in many tangible ways i never thought about until recently.
constantly feel like this chicken my cousin had once that lived in a factory farm + then went to his real farm. said in the beginning it was kind of weird and wanted to sleep in a little box because thats what it was used to, but it slowly became like the other chickens over time

Twitter is censoring @TulsiGabbard from appearing in United States trends. I got her to appear on worldwide trends but with over 113k tweets she should have been on one of my US trends lists. Tulsi Gabbard needs to address this like she did with Google.
