Have you noticed how the ongoing theme of the establishment who pretend to be not the establishment consistently sideline people and justify it by putting them in a box with a neat label. /rant
The latest example is the treatment of a frantic father of a baby who nearly died, who took an opportunity to tackle Johnson. Because this man is an active and engaged labour member, his valid concerns are washed over and sidelined in order to make Johnson looked picked on
It started in 2016 when 3 million residents of the UK and many if the 1.5 million Brits in the EU were denied a voice because they were assured that nothing would change.
Yet now the 3 million are having to apply to be in a box marked settled status and they and their British counterparts are less than equal in their homes. Sidelined.
Then the 48% became none- people, their views sidelined and almost immediately labelled remoaners. I heard that term within a week of the referendum result.
Even worse some of the 48% are both activists and remoaners. This must be the ultimate crime in the eyes of laura kuenssberg and others who are determined to present the “will of the people” through vox pops of racists ranting about the RNLI teaching foreign black kids to swim
Oh yes those kids are clearly to be sidelined.
As are the refugees dehumanised, always presented as a problem to solve never presented as humans to help.
I have never felt so angry as this week. I don’t know how we get through this. We are all the people and we will continue to express our will too, no matter how uncomfortable it makes the “establishment” feel! /rant over #FBPE
