Lots of clues here that there's no love lost between Commie Ardern & Patriot Trump. He waited til the last poss. moment to grant her an audience, prob. only bc of APEC, which I will start making plans to attend so I can be near the Presidential GOAT at least once in my life.😍🇺🇸
BTW, it's extremely rare for a sitting POTUS to visit NZ.

LBJ came in '66 to shore up involvement in Vietnam. WJC came for APEC in '99 (& to promote his/Crooked's post WH speaking gigs). BHO always found excuses to avoid NZ.

Trump will work with anyone, if it helps the US.❤️
PM Ardern said it was evident that President Trump had high regard for NZ.

I bet she had to say that through gritted teeth, lol.

When he expressed sympathy after our day of horror on 3/15/19, she attacked him in public.

(1) Thread. Epstein's death is bigger than Epstein. One of the most crucial goals of the Trump Presidency is to gradually restore trust and confidence in the federal justice system.

That process is well underway and can continue in spite of this event. Let the master work.
(2) Folk at both ends of the political spectrum are freaking out because Epstein's death occurred while in federal custody.

The #KeepDiggingDemocrats & their TDS-afflicted fans claim that PDJT himself wanted Epstein's crimes to stay hidden, to the extent possible at this point.
(3) Then there are the well-intentioned but mistaken members of smaller factions within the Trump movement who have lost faith in his ability to see justice done.

IMO, most Trump voters know there is no alternative but to wait and see. There are signs of change all the time.

Despite the nature of the tragedy, the injustice of it, one can always hope that his or her memory will be a blessing in some way.
IDC what the haters say about incidents such as this. No one can stop them happening. You can reduce the risk and you must, if you are responsible for the safety of others. But so many people refuse to do what is needed. Such as allowing good people to save a life with their gun.

Here are some rules I emphasize when teaching central line placement, usually for IJ triple lumens and HD lines. Not a comprehensive guide, just some things I've seen trainees miss (including myself). I'm a fellow so I am by no means an expert and I'd love your input! [THREAD]
Prep is everything. Room, bed, trash, table, etc. Make it easy! Move bed up, IVs and trash on opposite side of table--make space. Raise bed. Head down. Confirm ultrasound(US), image the length of vessel (for overt clots/stenoses). Clean hair, leads, tubes out of the way.
Before starting, I ask everyone to alert me if I've broken sterility to create a global expectation. Breaking sterility happens, you didn't "mess up." Don't hesitate, just get more PPE. I always bring a few sets -- proper setup helps maintain sterility. Just ask my daughter!
