There’s a thing that happens on @Twitter & it’s disturbing. People take offense with something someone has said. Then they go around sending DMs to people - demanding that they Unfollow the person who said whatever they decided was offensive.
If someone refuses to unfollow OR supports the person in question, they may be at risk too.
Childish playground nonsense. Sometimes it feels like we’re back in middle school.
Peer pressure. . . games. Manipulation. Backstabbing.

Nobody's got time for that nonsense!!!

It really bothers me when someone acts like I “owe them something”. I’ve never been one to live my life based on the expectations of others.
I also tend to let people make assumptions about me, and generally don’t bother to correct people when they get it wrong because - it’s not my problem when people jump to conclusions.
Maybe it’s because I don’t care what people think of me, but people who assume wrong can leave.
I’ve been misunderstood my entire life. I don’t have time for people who are intent on misunderstanding me. #ActuallyAutistic

Being autistic to me, means having a spiky skills & abilities profile. I can struggle with “simple” or new tasks, doing well with complex tasks, in my areas of expertise. It also means people are constantly over or underestimateing me. #ActuallyAutistic
I’m good with writing, mostly because anxiety drives me to second guess every word I type out.

However, I struggle to keep pace/follow back & forth communication. There is no time for me to compose my words.

I’m great at public speaking, if I have had time to write and memorize my presentation.

I can monologue, on & on. . .

It’s other people’s interruptions that get me off track. “When is it my turn to talk? Now? Now? Now? Oops - I forgot what I waned to say.”

When you are in a bad mental state having your self destructive behaviors pointed out is often not helpful. . . Since the goal is often self punishment. #mentalhealth #anxietydisorder
Anxiety tells you horrible things and makes you believe you are not worthy of love, even your own.
You may have feelings of self hatred or that you don’t even deserve basic comforts like food, rest, or love.

If you are asking "is it accurate to say you were fired? Forced to resign? How would you characterize this?" you may simply not know much about a discriminatory practice that was AN ACCEPTED NORM until, like, five minutes ago & that still happens even tho it is officially illegal
In her 2014 book Waren writes that the "principal did what I think a lot of principals did back then--wished me luck, didn't ask me back for the next school year & hired someone else for the job." Even in 2014, she's describing it as something she understood BECAUSE IT WAS NORMAL
If you didn't live through this being something so ubiquitous and acceptable that it did not even require (& often lacked) explicit expression, that's fine. But learn the history before you go around asking authoritatively demanding questions of those who DID live through it.

Shooting the shit with a friend, she’s proud to be doing well with her plants - unusual for her.

The key was a #video explaining the benefits of pruning.

She needs REASONS. She got them.

Apparently, pruning in a particular manner stimulates growth hormones.

Twitter seems to be banning or suspending accounts belonging to critics of the Chinese government. It started yesterday May 31th. Here is one report - I noticed a sudden loss of followers yesterday, I checked, it was mainly China critics. Twitter❤️🇨🇳 Amazing! @mouse @1GigiSims
This is happening as an effort to silence #China critics ahead of the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre, which is next Tuesday. Twitter is helping China do its dirty work to silence the legitimate opposition. Twitter has hit a new all time low! 👎👎👎
One other possibility that can't be discounted is that the #Chinese government is hacking into Twitter and is deleting the accounts of Chinese critics. I did hear reports in the past, that Chinese hackers were able to get into Twitter & do that.

He mastered critical thinking, effective communication, and teamwork, among other skills.
(3) I'm a 47yo woman looking back on a successful career in my chosen field. I'm from a low income, rural, liberal, Christian family. I earned high grades in college & became a NZ govt policy analyst. I then retired for medical reasons.
