1- Our fierce resistance stopped them from making any major breakthroughs. The resistance in #SereKaniye and #TalAbyad will continue till the last man and woman.
2- Shelling by drones, helicopters and artillery is very intensive, and caused the displacement of more than 100K civilians.
3- President Trump is working on reconciliation between us and Turkey. We are ready for dialogue under the condition of a ceasefire.
4- We don't regret our alliance with America, nor we regret rejecting Gen. Qasem Soleimani's offer. But we are disappointed.
5- If America wants a peaceful solution between us and Turkey, we demand them to prevent Turkey from using air force, and we can defend ourselves.
6- We plan for a war that lasts for more than a year.
7- We are talking with Damascus and Moscow if that protects our people.

Why does 2019, as well as the previous years, of the Trump presidency seem so crazy?

#TodayInHistory The epic battle of Saragarhi takes place in 1897 when 21 Sikhs, held off a much larger invading Afghan force in one of the greatest last man stands in history. This thread is more a look at the background, and events leading to it.
To understand the significance of Saragarhi, one needs to take a look at the backdrop. The Afridi tribe had a deal with the British to protect the strategically important Khyber Pass for 16 years, who in turn created a local regiment composed of the Afridis entirely.
However the Afridi tribesmen, turned against the British, and began to capture all the outposts in the Khyber, espeically on the Samana Range near Peshawar. Saragarhi was one of the posts, here, manned by the Sikhs. The British started the Tirah campaign in response.
