While claiming Trade Deals, Brexiters are demolishing them
Our current position is 70% Global (not just EU) FTAs, 80% from 2020 EU.
Look where these offshore backed idiots are taking us.

Current GDP deals "rolled over" 6% GDP
From 80% FTA to 6% overnight.

It is a crime committed on us all.
And it has ZERO mandate.
In 2016
We were promised frictionless trade
We were promised to be part of a Europe Great Trading Zone from Iceland to Russia
And we were told all this would be negotiated BEFORE Article 50⬇️

TODAY NOT A SINGLE CAMPAIGN PROMISE FROM 2016 SURVIVES.
If Brexit cannot deliver 2016, it has no legitimacy. Article 50 is invalid.

Brexiters don't respect their own result, they're not delivering the Brexit people voted for.

BREXIT is not Democracy. It's a tyranny of donkeys leading idiots.

When Parliament put #A50 into law it specified the law was based on the EURef outcome. That law stands today unless rescinded.

The evidence shows "Toryit" is not based on EURef
A50 notification DOES consider No Deal. But the underlying EU Directive is valid only if we act constitutionally

No EURef compliant brexit has been offered ∴ A50 is breached before any No Deal.

I refer to "TORYIT" to demarcate the Boris deal from "BREXIT" we voted for in 2016

I think the "negotiating" tactic to be adopted by Johnson is becoming clear. He is going to launch a trade war in conjunction with the US. He will say that if the EU does not concede to us, the US will take action. He will try to undermine the EU not for us but the US. #FBPE
For the AltRight ultra-capitalists, their goals are aligned i.e. they all want corporate rule, the rule of money as oppose to the rule of democracy and law. They are authoritarians who hide behind the illusion of democracy. This is the play. This is what is behind brexit.
Let's be clear, whenever there is a trade there is only one economic outcome, increases in prices on both sides. This of course leads to inevitable hardship & ironically increased support for those that have caused the trade war for their own benefit.

I actually have his book on the desk behind me. Much like Machiavelli's The Prince, it's a manual on how to be a complete and utter bastard (and win). Many of the chapters point to why Leave won, others to why Remain lost. Based on its content, #FBPE need to get its hands dirty.
The article is very different, and it's Leavers that are the narcissists - they hold a belief in something and won't accept being called up on it, deny any facts they're shown as fake news and propaganda, while never questioning their own sources.
I have #FBPE in my bio, and it's because I value Freedom of Movement. I have benefited from it, as have my friends and family. I want to keep it, I want my fellow UK citizens to keep it, and I want EU residents in the UK to keep it too.

1.This is a thread for my fellow Remainers in the #fbpe movement. There were some threads yesterday which have caused upset in our community and a shaking of people’s confidence. Well I awoke his morning with these thoughts on my mind and wanted to get them down on paper.
2. We have the privilege of having some excellent specialists in their fields fighting by our side, I thank each and every one of them. But it is by THEIR SIDE. They know the technocratic stuff and understand the legalities of treaties and trade deals.
3. But all of that on it’s own is not what will get us a peoples vote and our personal opinions, worldview and knowledge and experience should hold equal weight when considering our own positions.

1. A thread on #trade and aid.

One of the first tangible benefits of #Brexit I've seen is the emerging reform of @DFID_UK where it is becoming more of an arm of trade policy than a state owned humanitarian NGO. I would like that to go much further and rethink trade.
2. I do not think we should be wasting too much effort on free trade deals largely because they are of questionable value and encourage inefficient value chains. Any work on tariffs should really be reserved for multilateral activity.
3. Instead we need DfID as the spearhead of our trade policy. There is no reason why we cannot pursue humanitarian goals and enhance our trade while we are at it. For a start we can do a lot with medicines and pharmacy products.

A. This is nothing but a platitude, and a pre-emptive argument against a customs union, which imposes a common external tariff.
In truth, we trade globally through the EU, and play an important role in deciding what tariffs the EU sets.
