1. Mark Zuckerberg will be on NBC Nightly News on Monday and continue to pitch Facebook as a free speech platform.

It is objective not a free speech platform

It is a platform where you can post stuff and Facebook then determines how many people will see it
2. Let's just take for example my piece from last Thursday about how three GOP operatives in Facebook's DC office are calling the shots on major policy issues

I posted it on my Facebook page, which has over 10K followers

The post was shown to 632 people

3. Supposedly, Facebook is rewarding engagement. But of the 632 who saw this post 46 SHARED IT. It wasn't enough apparently.

If I pay Facebook 20 bucks, however, it's willing to show it to 4400 more people.

4. I have more followers on Twitter but a tweet with the same link reached over 800K people on the platform.

5. Facebook COULD operate like a telephone and just connect people who want to be connected and stay out of everything else. But it doesn't. Facebook decides who should see each post

It's not a neutral process. Facebook creates the algorithm & manipulates it to suit its purposes
