@barstandards @JasonBraier This seems like good advice, though perhaps not that well expressed - I think what is being said here is that 'heated' debates can lead to barristers losing sight of their professional responsibilities. Perhaps 'heated' is not the right word. I would think 'angry' or 'aggressive'
