Democrats are going to raise taxes, open the borders, and surrender to terrorists. They make some variation of this argument every two years. It rarely changes. Democrats can and have beaten this message easily because despite what some dem leaders think 1984 was a long time ago.
Democrats have a better shot at a 1964 election than Republicans do with a 1984 but the way many Democrats act - even when they win! - it’s always like Reagan is around the corner.
