While I applaud housing homeless people as I was once homeless myself and there is no more desperate feeling or circumstance, one has to remember how many people are driven to medical bankruptcy and even homelessness by the health insurance industry.
Also, more than half of America's homeless have serious mental health issues and most healthcare plans don't cover mental health care in even the most basic ways. So health insurers like United Health are conttibuting to the circumstance of untreated mental illness in America.
And let me reiterate that America needs full medical coverage and only 3 candidates support #MedicareForAll: @ewarren @BernieSanders & @KamalaHarris. Every other candidate equivocates on why not every American needs medical coverage. Millions of kids have no coverage right now.

My colleague @Will_Bunch who hates to see me have public meltdowns in which I use acronymic cursing since I don't curse on here reminds me that @CNN gave everyone town halls and that everyone else did theirs nearly a year ago, but Biden was trying to avoid his. Also, follow Will.
@Will_Bunch @CNN I do hope the first question @TomSteyer gets at his @CNN town hall right after he is asked about buying his way into the primary is "Why did your campaign steal the data mining from the only black woman in the race?"

Time for a late dinner with my hard-working wife and some Netflix and crochet.
This has been a terrible day.
You can't quite see the stitch yet. It's nice. However, this yarn is very bulky and hellish to work with and I will never work with it again. But it looks great and is super soft. So that's all that matters.
Oh and Criminal on Netflix is terrific. (If you like crime shows.)

I don't know who needs this lesson to countravene the "scary Socialism will take your choice" Palin approach that we heard in 2009 with the ACA, but your insurance can deny any coverage based on cost NOW--& does every hour of every day. #M4A insures everyone. THAT is the lesson.
I have had to spend HOURS trying to convince my insurere--one of the top insurance companies in the country--to pay for my OXYGEN, which is essential for me to BREATHE. For two weeks I have been fighting over the cost of ny lung medication. AND my premium is $1,978.10 PER MONTH.
So these Palinesque "death panels" arguments against #M4A are a throwback to 2009 and the passage of the #ACA which wasn't even insurance, just a law making insurers accountable. There are MILLIONS of uninsured kids--new study last week. We have to do better than fearmongering.

I’ll start this thread by saying that Gentrification has been made into a dirty word by people who have ZERO comprehension of Real Estate, Economics or Urban Development..
Gentrification is simply an area being improved through investment. These improvements lead to better funding for schools, higher paying job opportunities, and an overall raise quality of life for residents..

The word those people mean to use is “resident displacement”.
