Understand that no matter how you plan to turn a profit, you’re always going to be dealing with OPM (Other People’s Money)

After reading this thread. I CHALLENGE YOU TO prove to me there’s a different way.

Cool so how do we identify OPM when we see it?

Let’s start by identifying some the common names/categories of OPM

- Revenue
- Taxes
- Loan/CreditCards/LinesOfCredit
- Investments
- Credit Card Rewards
- Grants
- Scholarships
- Welfare
- Etc

...as your can tell from that list OPM is EVERYWHERE. Now about making it yours...

A little bit of insight:

There’s a reason why the IRS (a govt collections agency) defines income as money from ALL sources unless they exclude it.

The people who wrote the tax code knew that you can turn anything into OPM.

Okay back to how to the topic...

All REVENUE is OPM until you deliver the product or service you promised.

TAXES are just an incentivized ALLOWANCE from the government to you the Business Owner to spend money in places that support the economy. Buts it’s still just OPM (the govt’s) that you’re spending.

and I could keep explaining the items on that list earlier, but just know they’re all OPM.

NOW the big question you want to answer when trying to figure out how to make OPM yours is...
