Moments ago, an anti-tank missile was fired from Lebanon towards a community in northern Israel. Details to follow.
Anti-tank missiles fired from Lebanon hit IDF military positions in northern Israel. We returned fire toward the source of the attack in southern Lebanon.

We will continue to update as the situation develops.
Hezbollah fired 2-3 anti-tank missiles from Lebanon, hitting an IDF military outpost and ambulance in northern Israel. We fired at the Hezbollah squad responsible. No Israelis were injured in the attack.

BREAKING: IDF intelligence can confirm that Hamas has cancelled schools in Gaza tomorrow in order to send the children to participate in violent riots against Israel.
The Hamas militant group in #Gaza distributed this message at 2:19pm local time via radio stations, TV stations, and on Twitter.
During the hours of the riots tomorrow, weather in #Gaza is expected to be around 80 degrees Fahrenheit. This heat is a danger to children, who are susceptible to dehydration & heat-stroke. We call on Hamas to keep their children in school & not endanger them at the riots.

It's going to be an ugly day in Gaza and southern Israel.

Israel assassinated a senior Islamic Jihad commander inside Gaza early this morning. Palestinian factions are now firing an intense barrage of rockets into Israel in retaliation.
Gaza is run by Hamas but Islamic Jihad is a smaller faction that operates from the Strip.

Israel said it killed Baha Abu al-Ata because he was responsible for several recent rocket strikes from Gaza and was planning "immediate" further attacks on Israel.
It's relatively rare these days that Israel carries out targeted assassinations but they say they considered al-Ata an imminent threat.

Israel allegedly targeted another Islamic Jihad leader in Damascus at the same time. The Palestinian group's HQ is in Syria.
