If liberals start taking all of their policy cues from never-trumpers, the Democratic Party will become the party of Diet Republicans. Just because someone doesn't like Trump doesn't make them good or smart, especially if they only disagree with the packaging and not the content.
Never-trumpers want to remake the Democratic Party into one that hates progressives but loves George Bush. It's close enough to being there as it is. If they want to vote against Trump, all the better, but they don't get to set terms and limits on a party that isn't even theirs.
