I *wish* what Chuck said were true. Actually it's Putin, Sen. Kennedy, and a good chunk of the Republican Party establishment, for whom spreading disinformation coordinated by a hostile foreign nation was once anathema. Unpatriotic, even.
PS/ Petro Poroshenko *never* endorsed or did anything to support a US politician in 2016, and there's *no* evidence to the contrary. Meanwhile, Trump was, mid-campaign, *publicly endorsed* by the presidents of Hungary and the Czech Republic. Does Kennedy want *that* investigated?
PS2/ Those are just the *public* endorsements by heads of state. Besides those endorsements, Trump was endorsed by numerous nations' leading political opposition figures and *privately* (as detailed in PROOF OF CONSPIRACY) endorsed by Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, and Israel.

2/ Nader worked for MBZ. What other foreign government—unless it was Russia, Israel, or Saudi Arabia, all "Red Sea co-conspirators"—could he have reported to? And WP notes that "[Nader co-conspirator] Khawaja’s donations earned him...a post-election Oval Office visit with Trump."

Why is no one noting that Trump, Pompeo, Giuliani, Nunes, Solomon, Parnas, Lutsenko, and Fruman began their plotting AT A TIME WHEN they didn't know if Mueller would take down Trump? The evidence shows Trump began this scheme when he learned he was being investigated over Russia.
1/ In other words, Trump *believed* Mueller would take him down. His *years-long* plot against Ukraine, *per the evidence*, originated as a defense to allegations he knew were being made against the Kremlin, which he believed were going to be connected to him via *Paul Manafort*.
2/ I'll say this until I'm blue in the face: this WAS NOT CONCEIVED as a plot against Biden; harming Biden was a bonus.

This was a plot to exculpate Trump, Putin, and the man who connected them: Manafort. It was a plot to end sanctions and pave the way for Trump deals in Russia.

There are *so many things wrong* with Sen. Burr's responses in this interview, I don't know where to start. But I guess here's a good spot: media did *not* say that Russian officials just having a *preference* for Trump was "election meddling." And Burr saying so is *outrageous*.
1/ Moreover, comparing

1) Russian officials favoring Trump BECAUSE HE SUPPORTED THEM FACING NO PUNISHMENT FOR THE WAR CRIME OF INVADING EUROPE AND STEALING EUROPEAN LAND

and

2) Ukrainian officials favoring Clinton BECAUSE SHE SUPPORTED LONGTIME NATO PARTNER UKRAINE

is lunacy.
2/ To put a finer point on it: Trump's 2016 Russia policy was the most significant betrayal of America's national interests in the *modern history of US politics*. That Ukraine *and the rest of the world* were *horrified* by it represents *no* change in anyone's long-held views.

One of them is #cherrypicking, where only certain pieces of information are chosen to sell your argument.

Sometimes this presentation is done purely for sensationalism.

Take this Dan Scavino post Trump re-tweeted:
2/8 Seizing upon this shocking potential revelation, numerous news outlets are broadcasting it as if it were a lock, a definite thing, but if you look more closely at the articles themselves, it turns out to be anything but.
3/8 The numbers come from Moody's Analytics, a poll alla re swift to note has been accurate for 40 years... except in 2016.

That's a very recent & sizable blunder, & though they insist taking into account surprise turnout patterns resolves the issue, it leaves room for doubt.

What is clear: #SanDiego is full of ambitious politicians who change party, office and/or districts to stay in/run for office.
2/ Related: 2 of 3 recent Chairs of @sandiegodems were "reformed" #Republicans

They changed their party registration then worked against #progressives when they run against #moderates. Women of color were especially impacted by moderate party policies & actions in 2018
3/ @sandiegodems used "member communication" $ to attack @CD4Monica @vivianmorenoSD in their elections

Both women won- despite institutional #Democrat opposition. Hopefully this teaches local Democrats about the power & need for #diversity & representation in #SanDiego politics

In February, Mueller released information clarifying how and why #Putin desperately wanted to stop #HillaryClinton from being elected.

Trump, Bernie Sanders, and Jill Stein were helped by Russian election interference  vox.com/policy-and-pol…
In #Helsinki, #Putin stated directly that he worked to elect Trump. His intent was to stop #HillaryClinton. He tried to effectuate that during the primary by targeting Sanders supporters. Putin could not sway non-white voters despite his broad disinformation campaign against HRC.
But even though #Putin was unable to win the primary, he WAS able to plant the seeds of disinformation quite strongly. That included the parroting of #HillaryClinton being "corrupt," which Sanders and Trump had hammered (without evidence) repeatedly. (Details are in the report.)
