Law firm Sidley Austin and 8 other law firms are being sued by investors in Woodbridge Group.

The investors claim Sidley and the other firms aided & abetted Woodbridge Group’s $1.3 BILLION #PonziScheme.

Robert Shapiro of Woodbridge Group was previously convicted for running the Ponzi scheme.

So, the people who invested with Woodbridge Group were bilked out of a ton of money. A bunch of those victims are claiming that Sidley and other law firms were involved in the scheme by helping prepare docs w/ fraudulent statements & negligent legal memos.

They also said that Sidley & other firms knowingly helped with using investors money to buy property using sham loans & helped to hide activity by 3rd parties.
