1) contaminated produce sickening and potentially killing consumers
2) the produce becomes contaminated because farmers are under no obligation to give their workers sanitary facilities or breaks to use them

If we protected farm workers, none of this shit (pardon the pun) would happen. But we don't care, because they're poor and brown, and we're willing to risk our own health to keep fucking them over.
