1932 Packard Light Eight Roadster Coupe, one of the most fantastic grilles ever. Light 8 was a 1-year only model, very pricey at the time, very collectible today. #DavesCarIDService
Car ID tutorial: Packards are characterized by their "tombstone" grille tops, a styling cue they kept all the way to the mid 1950s.
1941 Oldsmobile, not one of GM/Harley Earl's proudest styling moments. But the Navy guys, 1941 car, and "Dangerous" sign, a fitting photo to share on this anniversary of Pearl Harbor.
"spoils of war" sort of implies some sort of Euro make in postwar Germany, but sure looks like a 1936 Plymouth to me
indeed a Pontiac, specifically a 1941
Had to wrack my noggin and do some research on this, but I'm saying 1924-ish Willys Overland
1953 Dodge Regent, note Dodge ram's head hood ornament
Car is 1940 Chevy, My wild guess at plane is a Beechcraft 18? Happy for correction from WW2 machinery buffs. Great pic, btw
1937 or 38 Chevy, and those hoodlums look like they're fixin' to do some mischief
This is a tough one, gonna say 1940-ish Diamond T
Not 100% certain, but I'd say 1947-8 Citroen Traction Avant, and Mom & Pop were having a fine ol' time.
That's it for #DavesCarIDService for today, I have real world car chores to attend to. Make sure to hashtag your ID requests; priority will be given to old family pics.
