Washington Post: "Public funding for schools has actually decreased since the late 1980s, adjusting for constant dollars."

This is not true.

1989: $10,840
----> 2015: $14,756

This is a real INCREASE of 36%

@washingtonpost should fix this factual error.

There is absolutely no way to spin this statement as true @washingtonpost.

Inflation-adjusted spending increased by 36%.

He is the Dean at UVAs Curry School of Education.

He is the same guy who said:

"there is zero support for the notion that private or parochial schooling is superior to public education."

Inflation-adjusted spending in education did NOT decrease since the 1980s.

There is no way to defend that claim.
