Three different #EB5 investors made serious money while undermining U.S. #nationalsecurity through trade with North Korea, Iran, and China.

As one of China's largest importers of coal from North Korea, #EB5 applicant Chi Yupeng used the proceeds to purchase "other items for North Korea, including nuclear and missile components."

#EB5 applicant Wang Wei, was the "Beijing-based owner of several Iranian procurement front companies [that were sanctioned] ... for transfers to Iran's missile program,"

Shuren Qin, who became a U.S. resident thanks to the #EB5 program, purchased and exported items with military applications while concealing that the items were being sold to affiliates of the Chinese navy.

This is not the first time the #EB5 program has been singled out for national security concerns.

Seantor @ChuckGrassley and @USCIS FDNS have expressed concerns for the program in the past.
