There are an enormous number of young US women in their mid 20s to mid 30s who don’t appear to be prioritizing motherhood. Many of their parents have assets while many of them do not. No massive transfer is seen.

I find the lack of major discussion on this biologically puzzling.
A lot of Boomer parents are going to die with hard drives full of photos from Tropical getaways & stylish German cars in their driveways, without knowing what it feels like to teach a grandchild how to tie a shoe.

Some daughters will inherit tidy sums some point after menopause.
This is not true of everyone of course. But there is something tragic about the core of the Me Generation. Even after a successful rebranding.

Great music though. What a soundtrack. The Big Chill indeed.
