PS/ At any other time in US history, there would've been *years* of Congressional hearings if a US president boasted about having ways of getting China to obey him, seconds later invited China to investigate his political rival, then let China give info on his rival to an adviser
PS2/ This whole presidency is a crime-in-progress, and I believe we won't see its like for another century or two if ever
PS3/ The only crime Trump appears not to have committed is murder, and to be very clear I'm only referring to *premeditated domestic murder*, as there's no doubt whatsoever he bears *legal* responsibility for the murder of hundreds or thousands of innocent Kurds in northern Syria
PS4/ When the story of what Trump did in Syria is written, it'll be found to have been worse than what he did with Russia and worse than what he did with China and worse than what he did with Ukraine and worse than what he did with UAE and worse than what he did with Saudi Arabia

PS6/ I'm now up to having read 300 articles on what Trump did in Syria with Turkey, and if you think I have some sort of minority view on this subject find any reporter who's done a detailed dive on what happened this fall in northern Syria and they'll tell you it was a war crime
PS7/ I swear, when the Democrats began an impeachment inquiry with respect to Ukraine Trump's reaction should have been *oh my god thank you so much* for only seeking to impeach me for Ukraine rather then Ukraine and Russia and Israel and Saudi Arabia and UAE and Turkey and Syria
PS8/ So when I or others consider the question of whether a trial for Trump should include witnesses *he claims are exculpatory* I set it against the backdrop of him having gotten away with war crimes and other crimes and this being the mildest inquiry he could ever possibly face
