I'd love to see @alivelshi address the mechanism by which there is such rampant growth in the stock market - is it all buybacks?

More importantly, how much of the growth is linked to foreign entities of questionable motivations - ie Saudi Arabia?

What proportion of growth is foreign vs domestic?

What about foreign direct investment vs broad purchases sub-10% threshhold?

Because the FDI numbers don't seem to match what we know Saudi investments to meet in recent years...

And I've seen other charts* that seem to indicate foreign investment was increasing in tandem with the recent rally in stock markets, but don't know where to find primary source data - this really isn't my field.

* I don't remember what reliable source I found them in.

So I'd love to see the subject of foreign investment in the US addressed, because if any entities have sufficient investments in the US markets to allow them to dump assets and destroy the markets, it seems like this "great economy" poses a significant risk to national security.
