I don't get these conversations about 2022.
People saying "Nani can never be president" as if it's Kenyans who decide.

Basically, Kenya is ruled by the most stupid of us.
And after every botched election, we spend 5 years saying the same thing, forgetting what happened in the previous 5 years, betting on who will win as if it matters how we vote.
All who were killed in 2017 are now forgotten.

We Kenyans have accepted to do this sacrifice of our blood for the political class.
The real question for us is not who will win. It is if we are willing to be killed for it. Unless we have a conversation about real politics, 2022 will be the same as 2017, even 2008.
